INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Create a five slide Introduction using Powerpoint.

You will save your Powerpoint as an MP4 movie, so make sure it plays automatically.

To submit your work:

You will create an “About Me” Page in Weebly and place the video on that page.

You should also start to design your e-Portfolio this week.

Everyone will visit each other’s e-Portfolios, set up a BlogRoll, and comment on their classmate’s videos.

    Describe the importance of extracurricular activities in preparing for careers.

  13. Describe the role of BPA in career fields.

  15. Examine how BPA’s strategic and operational plans are formulated, including how it uses planning tools.
  16. Examine processes for accomplishing an organization’s goals using available resources.
  17. Examine the roles of the BPA officers and participate in PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURES for the BPA organization.​
  18. Demonstrate proper use of system management tools.
  19. Use file management tools to create folders and subfolders.
  20. Select, move, copy, cut, delete, rename, and sort files within folders and subfolders.
  21. Practice viewing files in different ways (by icon, name, type, size, and date).
  22. Use the trash or recycling features to safely manage file deletions and restore files.
  23. Identify the appropriate use of e-mail and common problems associated with e-mail.
  24. Demonstrate e-mail etiquette.
  25. Utilize information transferred through e-mail to solve business problems and complete business tasks.

Uses a mixture of both DIM and DAA TEKS standards.
