Create a Documentary:

Watch Before the Flood:

TEAM Assignment: Develop a team of two or three.  Decide on a CURRENT SOCIAL ISSUE topic for your Documentary.  You can Argue the case of Fossil Fuels or go completely another way with a different topic.  You can use still photos and video clips. Topics MUST be approved!! Your documentary will be persuasive in nature, so take a side and prove it.

Create a Story Board based on your research.

Do your Documentary in Camtasia.

Create a Narration with background music in Audacity. Export as a WAV file to use in Camtasia.

Must have a title slide and a closing credits slide.

Minimum 15 minutes – Maximum 30 minutes

Place your finished Documentary on your e-Portfolio, in Schology and post the url in the comment box below.

Remember to go and visit your classmate’s documentaries and make positive comments.

Notice that all documentaries have a narrator.  You and your partner need to decide who is going to narrate or what parts each of you will narrate.  These notes and other ideas for what pictures and video clips you will use need to be thought out first on a storyboard.  I have copies on my desk.
